Section 212.055(2), F.S., authorizes municipalities representing a majority of the county’s population to initiate the Infrastructure Surtax through the adoption of uniform resolutions (a) establishing the rate of the surtax, and (b) calling for a countywide referendum on the Infrastructure Surtax. |
